anglers dream

It is every game anglers dream to discover a river of untapped potential.
A river free from pollution, amid spectacular scenery and with runs of fish that have not been subjected to angling pressure.
The River Strathy, in the Highlands of Scotland could just be your dream come true.

Bowside Location

Bowside is located in the unique and protected landscape that joins both the Flow Country and the spectacular backdrop of the Sutherland peaks.

The area is bordered by a mix of steep, dramatic cliffs alternating with unspoilt sandy beaches alongside the Pentland Firth.

The River Halladale and River Naver are respective neighbours to the east and west of the River Strathy. It is worth noting that Strathy Point is one of the most northerly projections of land on the UK mainland, along with Dunnet Head and John o’Groats.
